Spring Break Update 3/29/2004:

Hey friends,

Thanks to the 100+ people who showed up for the PPC's First Annual Spring Break Charity Pub Crawl up Southport in Lakeview, raising over $500 for charity! Great turnout for a new-to-the-world event!

Fuji's Pix from Spring Break 2004 can be found at: Album #1 (1-25) & Album #2 (26-51)

Special thanks to all the PPC crews who showed up, including the Michigan Party Girls (Renee, Jeaner, Erin, Pei & crew) who road-tripped all the way from Metro Detroit to Chicago just for this event, the Chicago Hash House Harrier's LaSalle Bank Shamrock Shuffle 8K contingent (who like me ran the Shuffle the NEXT MORNING but still got us rounds of tequila shots and whose crew included Ex-GM Michael, Nelanka, Rachel, Linda, Christina, & this Ivy character visiting from St. Louis), The Jen/ Michelle/ Carrie/ Stephanie et al gang of usual suspects who are my gamewatching wingmen at the Rock and Finley Dunn's, Heather our beloved graphic designer and who was the first PPC regular to show up, at Schuba's, the "Quarter's King" himself, His Festa-ness (with his Kellogg's Spongebob Squarepants cereal!) and of course Jill N. who's rallying from her a recent "sports" injury, TBOX Fixture The Ubiquitous Mr. Jeff Davis, Karin & Connie - The Infamous Dahl Sisters who covered my six at Mystic Celt, PPC Party legends Pave & Dam showing they're still in the game, YEH Kevin and Tom W., PPC pub crawl regulars Heidi, Alyssa & Andrea, as well as the seemingly inseparable comedy team of Pam & Sophia, my roommate Bridgot & my buddy Larry, KK and Gail who survived through the dancing at Joy Blue (although their wingmen Christine and Julie appear to have been taken out over the skies of Baghdad and Bruce who crash landed in the West Loop after taking heavy ground fire all night ), Old School regulars like Santeramo & Fitzie Micro Mahu along with fellow NIU alum Denise, and even Ebert Party J-Dog & Company who porpoised in and out of the event between Spring Break and Mike's parish pub crawl which was also on Southport and actually intersected Spring Break at Schoolyard Tavern, and hosts of others too numerous to mention but all contributed to the success of this event.

Gear up for the next major PPC event, the 13th Annual Chicago 4th of July Party coming Summer 2004!

And if you're into drinkin' for a cause like we are look for the PPC's next major Charity pub crawl, "Drinkin' on Lincoln 2004" coming in the Fall.

Hey folks, this is for all those who have been on our backs about diversifying out of our 12 Bars of Christmas and 4th of July Party routine. The first all-new PPC Pub Crawl since the first Clinton Administration.

Saturday, March 27 we're going on SPRING BREAK 2004!!!

Okay, so you no longer get a week off from school to roadtrip down to Daytona Beach and pile a dozen friends into a 2-person motel room with the bathtub full of beer & ice. But you can kick back and re-live some of the mayhem (sans the  sleeping on the floor!) on one of Lakeview's most popular pub crawl lanes - Southport Avenue!!!
