Fridge Door Bonus Pic!

Geez Louise, I thought there were a lot of retirees at Party Central North in Somers Wisc. but now that we have our first confirmed golf cart sighting it's confirmed... my vacation crash pad is in a retiree community! BTW, the object at the top of the pole to the far left of that building is the town of Somers municipal tornado warning siren, which can be heard from five miles away and they test every week at 10:30am on Saturday mornings (I sh1t you not!). Clear line of sight from my bedroom window. Another reason to be back in Chicago on weekends!

Special thanks to the over 400+ revelers who joined us for our largest 12 Bars of Christmas EVER!! We don't have an exact count because we ran out of wristbands for the first time ever! Hope everyone had a blast and mark your calendars for our next pub crawl, the PPC's 2nd Annual Ten Innings at Wrigley Pub Crawl in June 2005!!

Pictures from the 2004 PPC 12 Bars of Christmas can be found here.

Here's the other bookend of Lakeview Mayfest, Kristen, Kathy, Carl and Katie represent. A few more pix from Friday and Sunday night's Lakeview Mayfest outing can be found here.

Hey friends,

Thanks to all the pro's who turned out for the "First of the Majors" last weekend, Lakeview Mayfest. If last weekend's showing is any harbinger, Chicago's 2005 Summer Street Festival Season is looking to be the best ever! This weekend is a bit light as always what with a holiday weekend and all. A few of the PPC die-hards will be gathering for pre-game action at The Union on Friday night early, and then heading to Southport & Diversey to meet up with a visiting PPC alum from out of town. Feel free to join us!

And don't forget, next Friday June 3 is the PPC's new Spring flagship event, our second annual Ten Innings at Wrigley Pub Crawl. Just like our 12 Bars of Christmas it's all for fun so wristbands are FREE and we have specials setup at all ten bars! Lastly, the following Saturday, his-Festaness is having his first annual Texas Hold'em pub crawl for those die-hards who can go wire-to-wire two pub crawls in a row!

Here's what's on the board this week:

How It Will Work...

The way it works is simple... if you've seen them play Texas Hold 'Em Poker on TV, you know how to play.  At the first bar, we will give everyone TWO CUSTOM FESTA STUFF PLAYING CARDS.  These are YOUR CARDS.   Then, because we'll have so many people, things will be a LITTLE different from the real thing.  At Bars 2, 3 and 4, we'll flop community cards, one per bar instead of 3 at a time.  At Bar 5, we will give everyone one more of THEIR OWN CARD.  We're doing this to make less people have the same hand.  Then, at Bar 6, we will turn the final community card, AKA "The River", and we'll then award prizes for the best hands.
We will have methods in place to settle tiebreakers, and also, to make sure you keep your own cards and don't trade them with other people :)

All the Prizes will be posted shortly!!!

Questions...  contact us @ info@festastuff.com or call our office @ 773-755-FESTA!
