Picture(s) of the Week!

New! You Can Now Find Last Week's Fridge Door Pictures of the Week on the PPC Home Page - Click Here

Here's a pic of the cutting crew at McGee's on Friday night. Nothing like starting off the weekend with all you can drink for $15! A few more pix from this outing here.

Weekly Feature(s):

  • NPR Time-Kill of the Week: Wisconsin to Vote on Permitting Hunting for Cats. Just can't get enough of this story. Wisconsin considers a proposal to declare cats unprotected species and open game for hunters. The idea comes from a bird-lover who watches feral felines do some of hunting of their own. Cat lovers, predictably, are furious. Minnesota Public Radio's Erin Galbally reports.

  • Internet Time-Kill of the Week: CTA L Map in 2055. Industrial designer Craig Berman has assembled this interesting conceptual map of the L system in the year 2055 showing quite a few thought-provoking additions and improvements to our storied system.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for supporting the Goodie Foundation party!  It was a fun night!  This is going to be the last Happy Hour until fall, with the exception of a Mid-summer blow out.  There is too much happening in the Big Fat City in the summer!  Anyway, How long has it been since you went to Beaumont’s??  I think I went there with a fake ID last time…  There is Grizzly’s Lodge then three more that I’m confident you haven’t been to or at least been to in a while. (We will end up in the Lincoln Park area)  I need people to RSVP me with a fairly good guess of the number attending so we can have the right number of busses!  Also, the busses will be staggered on leave times so we can all get drinks at the bars. We will probably have 6 busses.

On a personal note, a couple of you ladies spoke with me about my writing style so I took a look at some of my past invites and guess I can see how they have been a little over the top with sexual innuendos.  So I promised those ladies that I would keep the sexual words and comments to a minimum for this invite, penis.  I guess that most of you realize beaver that I’m only kidding around.  I realize, boobs that the whole idea of sophomoric e-mails is beneath me, beef curtains and that sexual innuendos whether blatant, nipples or hidden have to stop before, ten inch meat hammer some of you get the wrong idea about me:)  Thank you for understanding and Cumming to the parties.

Get to either of the two starting bars on time!  See you there!!

John Corry

H3 Version:

Friday, APRIL 29th. 6pm - 8pm check in at first bar, 8-9pm check in at 2nd bar. More details in next weeks email but, here is what to expect:

$15 includes: bus rides, beer on bus, no cover at the bars, sexy scavenger hunt, contests, giveaways and $$$ prizes. Sponsored by Miller Lite.

Look for bars such as: Beaumonts, carols pub (live country band), crush, grizzleys and the bistro (live hard rock band).

We anticipate having 6 buses. Rsvp to h3events@hotmail.com
