Holy cow!! This must have been our largest ever. The River Shannon (bar #1, ran out of wristbands - I should have taken that as an omen). Then we ran out of PPC wristbands first at Parkway and then at Hidden Shamrock after a "resupply" pit stop at Party Central. This one has to have been over 400 people in total.

Here's a bonus pic from the Philly HHH postparty at Riverman's house overlooking the ever-rising Schylkill River following their Post-Thanksgiving Run. I didn't even know Gennesse made a red lager before, but I certainly do now! More pix from this event can be found here.
 

Special thanks to the over 400+ revelers who joined us for our largest 12 Bars of Christmas EVER!! We don't have an exact count because we ran out of wristbands for the first time ever! Hope everyone had a blast and mark your calendars for our next pub crawl, the PPC's 2nd Annual Spring Break coming in April 2005!!

Thanks to everyone who joined us for the PPC's 8th Annual 12 Bars of Christmas in Lincoln Park last Saturday night... we ran out of wristbands at 400 peeps so we once again set a new record for attendance!! What a wipeout!
 
Now it's time for the die hards to buck up for the Grand-daddy of them all, Festa's TBOX 9 which is a 15-bar tear through Wrigleyville this Saturday, starting at Sheffield's at 11:00am. Are you ready for 15 more bars??? I'll be there from bar 1 ready to go wire-to-wire for the third year in a row!! And don't forget Dave Deegan's five-bar warmup Friday night on Lincoln Ave starting at 6:30 at Gin Mill.

Friday, December 10: CSSC's Holiday Party at Level

Chicago Sport and Social Club and Motorola Holiday Hunt and Party

Date: Friday, December 10, 2004

Time: 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM Holiday Hunt / 7:00 PM - ?  Holiday Party

Location: Level - 1045 N. Rush Street

Description: The Chicago Sport &  Social Club and Motorola are looking for YOU to go on a fun scavenger hunt around downtown ending up at our annual holiday party at LEVEL.  Each team will be armed with clues and a new Motorola V551 phone to report the findings of their mission. Rules and details to follow.  Winners will be awarded prizes and a new Motorola V551 phone.

Teams for the Holiday Hunt are made up of 8-10 people.

This Friday and Saturday, December 10 and 11, we are wrapping up our month-long holiday food drive with back to back parties! We'll take toiletries and non-perishable food, and with those donations, our meal package is just $10 ($15 without donation) and includes a buffet, domestic drafts, well drinks, wine and soda from 8:30-11:30pm. Friday, December 10 - Saturday, December 17: Bar1Events Holiday Food Drive Parties at Duffy's

Duffy's is giving you a lot more chances to do something good for others this holiday season! We are throwing back-to-back Holiday Food Drive parties two weekends in a row. This Friday and Saturday, December 10 and 11, AND next Friday and Saturday, December 17 and 18, it's just $10 (with a canned food donation/$15 without) for a meal package that includes a buffet, domestic drafts, well drinks, wine and soda from 8:30-11:30pm.

 

Saturday, December 11: Festa's TBOX9 in Wrigleyville

This is the other big 12 Bars of Xmas pub crawl in Chicago and it's massive. Well over a thousand people attend this 12-15 bar behemoth in Wrigleyville. Cost is approx $22 (w/fee) and includes a badge and customized baseball cap as well specials at each bar which are pay-as-you go. Pre-registration highly recommended and available online at:

Saturday, December 11: Bar1Events Support the Troops Party at Durkin's

Saturday, December 11, Durkin's is throwing a great party to support our troops, but we need your help! The $20 meal package includes a buffet and all drafts from 4-7pm, and for all those who join the fun, 40% of all proceeds will be used to send holiday care packages to our troops, so don't miss it!

***Jack Sullivan's - It's a silent night...NOT! Come in Christmas night for a $15 meal package including a buffet, domestic drafts and well drinks from 7-10pm.
