As expected, the Lakeview Shelter fundraiser simply rocked and the Rush & Division pub crawl which ended up at the Hangge Uppe was a blast also. Proceeds benefit a different charity each week and past raffle prizes/giveaways have included restaurant gift certs, event tickets, wine club memberships and a trip to Maui.

Admission is just a $12 donation and includes an all-you-can-eat buffet, complete with a CARVING STATION and other refreshingly surprising upscale items, as well as complimentary domestic drafts, wine and soda. All call drinks are $2 with paid donation (Red Bull drinks are $4). Tickets are only available at the door.

What can I expect at a DMF event?
DMF events are excellent opportunities to mix and mingle with large groups of like-minded singles, or just grab a drink with friends. DMF parties are not ‘speed-dating’ events and there is no formal matchmaking. However, we commonly facilitate introductions.

PPC's 8th Annual 12 Bars of Christmas Lincoln Park Neighborhood Pub Crawl

Saturday, December 4, 2004

Starting time and bar TBA

The Tradition Continues! What started out in December of 1997 as just a handful of friends joking around that we should go a 12-Bar tear to kill time on a Friday night in Lincoln Park has mushroomed into one of the largest free pub crawls in the City of Chicago with the event attracting over 300+ participants in 2003!

Although there have been evolutionary changes along the way, like moving the event onto Saturday night (so more folks could attend), free wristbands, and of course, pre-negotiated drink specials, our core traditions remain the same... good friends, good drinks, good times, and even some free Santa Hats for the early birds.

And even though this event has grown to one of the largest private pub crawls in the city, to this day we don't collect one penny from our friends for this event, as we do not wish to make your charitable giving decision for you by collecting on someone else's behalf. We think it's great that others do (so please be generous to the charity of your choice), but that's just not what we're all about. We're here to party!

See you all there!
