Nothing like a little karaoke fun on a Wednesday night at The OB. Here we see Gina, Evyn, and Julie belting it out on stage on the last night of the Fall 2004 Wednesday night kickball season. More pix from this outing can be found here.

Fridge Door Bonus Pic!

Chris Festa's Utah / Arizona Hiking Trip -- October 2004 http://www.festastuff.com/Merchant2/utah2004/

Of course no weekend would be complete without a Bears game party at KK's place, with the hostess herself posing with the "Bears logo pumpkin". Too bad da Bears couldn't muster a win vs. the Bucs,  but at least Krenzel looked halfway decent!

Want to know the meaning of implosion. Take Friday night's cross-divisional game for the Vinos vs. RTD Chickens which quickly unraveled into the worst blowout in that storied franchise's history, 15-0. But all is well and good bck at the bar after a few beers (and beer bongs. and Jager bomb shots... oh my). More pix from this wipeout can be found here.

SPECIAL NOTE - PLEASE CHECK THIS SITE FOR INFORMATION ON UPCOMING PARTIES AS WE ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES WITH OUR EMAIL SERVER SO SOME PEOPLE MAY NOT BE RECEIVING THE WEEKLY EMAIL NEWSLETTER. WE HOPE TO HAVE THIS RESOLVED SHORTLY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND PARTY ON!

Hey Friends,

Well it's finally time for the second biggest party weekend in Chicago after St. Patrick's Day - HALLOWEEN. Get those costumes ready and get ready to tie one on!!! The festivities start with that great charity fundraiser for the Lakeview Shelter tonight at Murphy's Bleachers which I'll be at. Friday there's either The Union or McGee's, and Saturday there's a killer pub crawl at Rush & Division. Sunday, for those who still have livers and don't need to get to work early, Bar1Events Crawl With The Creeps is the place to be.

And whether you're a Bush, Kerry, Nader, of Fuji supporter, don't forget to vote next Tuesday. Find your polling place fast at: http://www.mypollingplace.com/find.php

PPC's 8th Annual 12 Bars of Christmas Lincoln Park Neighborhood Pub Crawl

Saturday, December 4, 2004

Starting time and bar TBA

The Tradition Continues! What started out in December of 1997 as just a handful of friends joking around that we should go a 12-Bar tear to kill time on a Friday night in Lincoln Park has mushroomed into one of the largest free pub crawls in the City of Chicago with the event attracting over 300+ participants in 2003!

Although there have been evolutionary changes along the way, like moving the event onto Saturday night (so more folks could attend), free wristbands, and of course, pre-negotiated drink specials, our core traditions remain the same... good friends, good drinks, good times, and even some free Santa Hats for the early birds.

And even though this event has grown to one of the largest private pub crawls in the city, to this day we don't collect one penny from our friends for this event, as we do not wish to make your charitable giving decision for you by collecting on someone else's behalf. We think it's great that others do (so please be generous to the charity of your choice), but that's just not what we're all about. We're here to party!

See you all there!
