Hey friends,
Some of you may not have received the last few party email updates as we've been experiencing technical difficulties with our mailing list management program on the server (I think the list got too large and crashed it) so I've been slowly rebuilding it in smaller bits but hopefully it'll work now.
Anyhow last weekend's highlight was PPC co-founder Marietta's visit back in town from London and the multi-bar partyage that ensued. This weekend starts off with the Goodwill Guzzle at Jack Sullivan's to benefit Mr. Moose's Youth Center, and then the 20/30 Club's Casino Swing on Saturday night. Here's all the stuff on the fridge door this week:
SPECIAL NOTE - PLEASE CHECK THIS SITE FOR INFORMATION ON UPCOMING PARTIES AS WE ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES WITH OUR EMAIL SERVER SO SOME PEOPLE MAY NOT BE RECEIVING THE WEEKLY EMAIL NEWSLETTER. WE HOPE TO HAVE THIS RESOLVED SHORTLY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND PARTY ON!

PPC's 8th Annual 12 Bars of Christmas Lincoln Park Neighborhood Pub Crawl
Saturday, December 4, 2004
Starting time and bar TBA
The Tradition Continues! What started out in December of 1997 as just a handful of friends joking around that we should go a 12-Bar tear to kill time on a Friday night in Lincoln Park has mushroomed into one of the largest free pub crawls in the City of Chicago with the event attracting over 300+ participants in 2003!
Although there have been evolutionary changes along the way, like moving the event onto Saturday night (so more folks could attend), free wristbands, and of course, pre-negotiated drink specials, our core traditions remain the same... good friends, good drinks, good times, and even some free Santa Hats for the early birds.
And even though this event has grown to one of the largest private pub crawls in the city, to this day we don't collect one penny from our friends for this event, as we do not wish to make your charitable giving decision for you by collecting on someone else's behalf. We think it's great that others do (so please be generous to the charity of your choice), but that's just not what we're all about. We're here to party!
See you all there!
