| The PPC has selected the bars
and a route for the Fourth annual Twelve Bars of X-mas (yes, there's only ten official
bars, but it's a compromise with the Eight Bars of Hanukkah). There are two bonus bars for
you hardcore partiers and dancing queens out there. Due to our ever-decreasing attention spans, once again, this year we have a completely new route. Unlike the counterclockwise circle we did last year, this is essentially a straight shot south and east starting at Durkins at Halsted & Diversey, and ending up at Alumni Club, as our dearly departed former ending bar, Bamboo Bernie's alas has seen its own "Last Call". As usual, there will be free Santa hats on a first come, first serve basis, so show up early unless you want to be reduced to pleading for a hat.... (or if you have one from a previous year - bring it! It will identify you to the bartenders as part of our group and ensure you get the drink specials we've negotiated!) See you all there!
