The 3rd Annual 12 Bars of Christmas - 1999
Well here it is. After much diligence (but mostly delegation), the PPC has selected the bars and a route for the annual Twelve Bars of X-mas (yes, there's only ten official bars, but it's a compromise with the Eight Bars of Hanukkah). There are two bonus bars for you lushes and dancing queens out there.
This year we have a completely new route. As usual, there will be free Santa hats on a first come, first serve basis, so show up early unless you want to be reduced to pleading for a hat....

Editor's note: This was the year the tradition almost died due to lack of interest and first year Fuji stepped into the breach and set the route. Drink specials would come later in 2000. Burwood Tap was also visited by a busload of peeps all dressed up in Santa suits and was complete mayhem - never went there again. Our dearly departed Fourth of July Party anchor bar, Bamboo Bernie's was the ender for this one too. Last time every. No pix from this 12 Bars are known to have survived into modern times.
